I travel a lot, and this hotel was truly one of the best I've experienced! It was my first time in Istanbul, and thanks to this hotel and its amazing staff, my visit was absolutely incredible! The hotel's location is perfect, offering everything you need within reach. There are charming spots with picturesque views for breakfast, dinner, or simply taking photos. You can easily visit the Grand Bazaar, the hamam, and the Blue Mosque on foot, and the tram station is less than a 5-minute walk away. Upon entering, you're greeted by a beautifully elegant hotel lobby and the friendliest staff at the reception that you could ever hope to meet. The room was impeccably clean, had a refreshing scent, and was clearly recently renovated. The view from my room was absolutely stunning! I particularly appreciated the gesture of providing a large bottle of water daily. It's a small touch, but it shows their concern for the well-being of their guests, ensuring they stay hydrated. It was a thoughtful touch. As a light sleeper, I can confidently say that the room was remarkably quiet, allowing me to sleep soundly throughout my stay. Now, the breakfast was a true delight. They offered a wide variety of Turkish cheeses, an assortment of jams, cakes, biscuits, dips, and more. It was a breakfast dream come true! However, I've saved the best for last. While you can find hotels with great rooms and views, what truly made my stay exceptional was the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to assist me, especially since it was my first time in Istanbul. They provided invaluable recommendations, guided me on getting around the city, and showed exceptional hospitality. Their warmth and welcoming nature made me feel like I was at home. To top it off, they even celebrated my birthday, which moved me to tears and left me with a heartwarming feeling I will never forget. Gokhan, Aykut, Kenan, and Mehmet were the epitome of exceptional hotel staff.

A very nice hotel. The room was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was at the end when they called a taxi ‘they trust’ to bring me to the airport. They assured me that the cost would only be what was on the meter but as soon as we left I saw the meter wasn’t on. When I asked about it, the driver kept pretending that he didn’t understand me and told me the price would be only €50.00. I knew something was really wrong so I texted the hotel who contacted the taxi station and they called the driver, telling him to turn on the meter. Then a few kilometres before the airport he turned it off again! I was so annoyed! And then had to pay him 1650 lira as he insisted that it was 1500 plus his commission. Obviously this isn’t the hotels fault but hopefully by writing this, they will get more strict about the taxi companies they use / recommend for their guests.

Staying at Hotel Nena was an amazing experience. I have been more than 10 times in Istanbul, but I can honestly say this was the best hotel i've stayed in. Starting with the perfect location, just 1 minute walking to Sultanahmet and ending with the fact that the hotel is incredibly clean. Our room was cleaned every day, the towels changed, even though we didn't ask. Amenities and water supply was filled as well every day. So a big thank you to the cleaning staff. Also to the guys at the reception who always greeted us with a smile and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was really good in our opinion, with many options every day. The beds and pillows were comfortable, so we could rest after the days of exploring wonderful Istanbul. Thank you again, Hotel Nena!

Modern and tastefully decorated hotel. Excellent location, within walking distance to all major attractions: Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome. Very close to public transportation. But what really sets this hotel apart is its warm, welcoming and courteous Staff. From the employees in the Reception area, Gotham, Aziz, Can, Mehmet and Aykut. To the people in charge of breakfast, Saliha the chef, Fatma, Erkan, and Ilkan (breakfast was delicious and plentiful, by the way.) And last but not least, Sevcihan, who gave us a spotless room to return to each of the seven days we spent here. All of them in general were very helpful, gave us excellent suggestions, and made us feel looked after. In the best tradition of world class hoteliers. Kudos!!

Newly rebuild property in the old town, few minutes straight walk from the historic part and conveniently close to public transport stops for both of the airports. Very easy to find, signage is visible right off the main street with a tram line. Kudos to the architect and interior designers team: whole property had been modelled in a sober Nordic/European style (no gilded kitsch so usual for the region). Price offer (= low season) was simply unbeatable, which was probably an aberration, so don’t count on that. What will likely stay is the team at the reception - who all were very helpful, sincerely friendly and even endeavoured to show me what’s around. Top marks, keep on the great job.
